A Lengthy Exposure

Posted by eddo (Toronto, Canada) on 24 November 2009 in Cityscape & Urban.

30 seconds of "what feels like forever" goes by as I hold my breath waiting for this image to form. Cars rumble by on the bridge behind me, I can feel the drivers looking at me, wondering why I'm crouched over the railing with my hands floating around the camera which is precariously balanced on the rusty bridge railing.
It's chilly, and I start to wonder why I'm doing this...then the shutter clicks.
