At the Shanghai 2010 Expo this fall. Shanghai did a pretty amazing job building the expo grounds. They even built a beautiful reflection pool so that visitors could enjoy the view.
A little boy got in my shot here, and initially I was annoyed at him. I watched as other (very serious looking) photographers scolded him and shooed him away. Interestingly, moments after the child left, adult photographers encroached on the reflecting pool. Some, setting tripods up directly in front of other photographers, obscuring their view.
Suddenly I realized how much nicer it was to have the little boy, obliviously playing in the water blocking my viewfinder instead of an inconsiderate adult, fully aware of his or her actions claiming my image.
